This week when an email popped up in my inbox from China Doll Boutique telling me about a bloggers competition they were running. I was very intrigued as I had never heard of them before but looking around their website I saw how lovely the clothes and jewelry they stocked was, there may not be pages and pages of different items but the things they sell are really nice and on trend.
So I decided I would enter the competition to style an outfit featuring some products from their website to create an outfit up to the value of £200. Also the competition nicely fits in with my usual monthly wishlist.
You can enter the competition to win your outfit here.
China Doll Boutique Jumper £34
When I saw this jumper on the China Doll Boutique website I was like "OMG I NEED THAT!" This jumper is actually so cute because its got loads of little black bobbles on, I'm not normally adventurous with my jumpers but because this fits with the monochrome trend that runs throughout my wardrobe it is incredibly easy to style.
Black PU Skirt £45
PU featured heavily in lots of collections at LFW a couple of weeks ago especially the Topshop Unique show, and I love it! Gone are the days when PU was reserved for dodgy backstreet shops and the window displays in Ann Summers, as now it is used on beautifully shaped pieces like this skirt. The shape of this skirt will mean that it will look gorgeous poking out of the bottom of the jumper, sophisticated and in no way slutty.
I've been seeing so many of these types of heels around lately and fallen in love! I feel how they make any outfit look beautiful whether it be a crop top and boyfriend jeans or like here, a jumper and skirt. I'm not normally a fan of any shoe that exposes too much foot because of my phobia of weird feet (don't ask!) but these have a double ankle strap and thick band across the toes so the right amount of foot is on show.
Zara City Bag £49.99
Every blogger/youtuber and their mother has this bag and I can see why, it's gorgeous! When watching a what's in my bag video recently I saw how amazing this bag is as it has an abundance of different pockets perfect for phones, tablets and can even fit a laptop. This is the perfect size it's big enough for a weekend away but small enough for everyday, plus everyone loves an over sized handbag!
Wet Look Nail Varnish £6.95
I've never heard of the brand Save The Nail but this nail varnish looks amazing. It's basically a high shine topcoat that makes your nails look wet while being dry... hence the name Wet Look Top Coat (duh?!) This with a black nail varnish underneath will replicate the high shine gloss of the PU skirt. Perfection.
Total = £165.93
I'd love to know what you think of my outfit and the potentially risky PU skirt and if you chose to enter the competition I'd love to see you entries.
